Do you have a 44 Magnum revolver or rifle? Then get yourself some premium American-made hunting ammo for it. Hornady Handgun Hunter ammo is loaded with the patented MonoFlex bullet. It’s a hollow point that topples deer and hogs, and it’ll certainly do the trick if your 44 Mag firearm ever has to play a role in your personal safety.

The MonoFlex is a monolithic bullet: solid copper, but with additional supple black elastomer material filling its nose cavity. The elastomer gets compacted into the nose cavity during penetration to force rapid, uniform and deadly outward expansion. The MonoFlex’s nose profile is lever action safe!

The MonoFlex is lead-free, and its all-copper construction means it should lose no less than 5% of its weight before coming to a rest within soft tissue. Superior weight retention gives the MonoFlex the momentum it needs to pass through to a medium-size quarry’s vitals.

This round’s new brass case stores the non-corrosive primer and clean-burning powder a 200 grain bullet needs to achieve 1,475 fps muzzle velocity (8” test barrel). A full-size revolver will put about 760 ft lbs of energy into a 50-yard target. With good aim and the MonoFlex’s wide-expanding, deep-penetrating terminal ballistics, any buck’ll be out of luck.
