Penetration numbers that approach the 9mm is unheard for the much less powerful .380 Auto, but Remington manages to get that kind of performance out of this 102 grain jacketed hollow point. Furthermore, the 940 velocity (feet per second) and 200 ft. lbs. of energy are potent numbers for the normally somewhat mundane round. The reduced recoil, thanks to an advanced powder and the way the cartridge is loaded means that you can rely on the full sized .380 in y our hands AND the ammunition to actively keep you on target.
Remington has worked hard to eliminate the drama that comes with most .380 Autos and this round tends to be easily digested by all the full frame guns and even many of the smaller guns even though it was custom designed for the bigger frames and barrels.
