You get better weight retention from that, with ideal penetration depths between 12 and 18 inches as per the FBI specifications.
This is a +P rated cartridge. As such you need to confirm that your firearm can handle the increased pressures and the increased recoil profile of the round. Many lightweight or small framed revolvers will NOT be suitable for this type of ammunition and your firearm manual can help you determine the capability of your firearm.
