This round’s 150 grain Copper Extreme Point is made of solid copper with the exception of its polymer tip. A copper bullet conserves accuracy by eliminating lead fouling, and further promotes accuracy by possessing zero flaws in its profile or weight distribution. The streamlined boat tail projectile defeats frontal air resistance so well that its effective range for whitetail is 520 yards – the distance at which it still retains at least 1,000 ft lbs of energy.
The Copper Extreme Point becomes a big problem for whichever animal it collides with. Copper’s toughness prevents fragmentation before the bullet can burrow deeply into its target. And because the Copper Extreme Point’s tip is so large, it accelerates terminal expansion while simultaneously dumping devastating energy into its target.
