Remington’s Core-Lokt bullet has remained a favorite among hunters for over 75 years. Its copper jacket and solid lead core reliably deliver controlled expansion to double its original size upon impact, and this bullet’s pointed soft point even further ensures mushrooming adequate to take down medium to large sized game without compromising long range performance.
This 30-06 Spring cartridge sports a relatively light 125 grain pointed soft point projectile, which imparts a couple of marked advantages while target shooting or deer hunting. First, that light weight translates into a zippy 3,140 fps muzzle velocity, letting you close great distances fast. Second, it greatly reduces the recoil you would experience with a heavier bullet, making this round a good one to train a new 30-06 Spring marksman with. This round also offers a brass casing with non-corrosive Boxer primer, and is fully reloadable. As with all of Remington’s ammunition, these cartridges have been assembled in their Arkansas plant to the exacting standards that has made the company legendary.
