The TSX boasts a lot of performance-enhancing features simply because it is made of copper instead of lead. A bullet that cannot leave behind lead residue is naturally going to preserve a hunting rifle’s accuracy. The TSX is built for accuracy. A monolithic bullet simply hasn’t got jacket irregularities that could have thrown off its rotational stability. The TSX’s Accu-Groove further decreases barrel fouling to conserve even more of your rifle’s accuracy, and its precision heel radius provides a uniform surface for propellant gasses to push up against. Throw in the TSX’s sleek overall profile, and you’re looking at a bullet with a 0.374 G1 ballistic coefficient! In other words, this round’s bullet produces so little drag that it retains over 1,500 ft lbs of energy at 300 yards.
Deep and deadly. That sums up the TSX’s terminal performance perfectly. A copper bullet does a great job remaining intact so it can hold on to sufficient momentum to plow through several layers of muscle tissue. The TSX produces four broad, sharp cutting petals as it penetrates its target to kill it quickly and humanely!
