This round’s 140 grain bullet is a pointed soft point, with the sharp meplat it needs to part air molecules aside and retain a great deal of its starting velocity downrange. Its impressive ballistic coefficient means the bullet still soars at nearly 2,000 fps by 400 yards!

True to its title, the Core-Lokt’s tapered copper jacket is mechanically locked to its dense lead core. This permits it to retain the majority of its weight that it needs to assure deep penetration to the vitals. As the exposed lead in its sharp tip meets with hydraulic pressure, the Core-Lokt begins mushrooming rapidly outward – often to double its diameter!
