The 224 Valkyrie is already an amazing new cartridge, but if you have a modular sniper rifle then it can get even better if you invest in this round from Federal’s Fusion MSR line of ammunition. Its propellant is formulated specifically to optimize its performance in an MSR with an typical barrel length, and further emits a subtle flash that won’t harm your vision during a night hunt. This round’s primer is also optimized to interface with a free-floating firing pin.
This cartridge’s 90 grain projectile will simply devastate whatever rugged beast finds one tunneling between its ribs. As a soft point it will widen substantially during penetration, and its jacket is molecularly bonded to its core to permit it to retain the near entirety of its weight. This bullet is exceedingly accurate as well — not only because of its fast muzzle velocity, but also because its core is pressure formed to give it uniform weight distribution.
