Its swaged lead core, flat base, aerodynamic profile, concentric jacket and sharp polymer tip all contribute to this bullet’s flat, stable trajectory. This bullet’s 0.255 G1 ballistic coefficient lets it retain over 1,000 ft lbs of energy at 200 yards when fired out of a 24” barrel!

The V-MAX swaged lead core has a precision formed nose cavity. When the polymer tip connects with the target it builds up a lot of energy before ramming into the base of that cavity, at which point it forces the core and jacket outward in a veritable starburst of terminal fragmentation.
