These cartridges use a full metal jacket bullet that produces significantly less fouling and lead exposure hazard compared to lead round nose projectiles, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor ranges alike.
Each round in this box of 1,000 fires a heavy 158 grain FMJ bullet at a muzzle velocity of 889 feet per second. This makes it a relatively powerful load for a .38 Special, which results in more realistic training if you use even more powerful +P ammo or carry a .357 Magnum.
Sellier & Bellot ammunition is loaded in the Czech Republic and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
