The 50 BMG might not be our first choice for deer hunting, but we do admit it would be effective at wiping Bambi clean off the face of the earth. John Browning designed the 50 BMG to take down airplanes – a hoofed mammal doesn’t stand a shadow of a chance.
Magtech loads these powerhouses with 624 grain full metal jacket projectiles. Nothing fancy – just an aerodynamic metal bolt that screams downrange for what can feel like forever. In true M33 fashion the bullet’s core is made of steel, which is just one of two reasons why you may not be allowed to fire this ammo in an indoor range. (The other being that you would deafen the other shooters.)
Magtech loads these training cartridges with brand new brass cases. You can see where the cases’ necks were annealed at the factory – not an indication that they are reloaded, but rather that they were created correctly. Military-grade, Boxer-primed and made for a good time!
