This is a true target load. Its full metal jacket is the simplest type of bullet a semi-automatic rifle is able to fire, and its lack of any features which produce terminal expansion only make the FMJ even more cost-effective. But just to be sure, Ammo Inc. does not add any steel to their nonmagnetic bullets!
This cartridge’s 150 grain bullet achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,980 fps. It’s not a match grade bullet by any measure, but at that starting velocity it will stay supersonic until about 1,080 yards. Ammo Inc. exclusively loads new and reloadable brass cases, and their Hyperclean Technology powder conserves accuracy by minimizing fouling of the barrel.
