Most precision 223 Rem cartridges are loaded with heavyweight bullets. Problem is, these bullets require faster barrel twists in order to receive the stability they need to exhibit their best accuracy. But if you’ve already got a 1:9” twist barrel and don’t want to buy another, then you can still enjoy awesome accuracy thanks to Corbon’s Performance Match 223 ammo!
This cartridge is loaded with a 55 grain bullet – spot on for what you’d want when you’re rocking a 1:9” barrel. The high-quality FMJ features a super-concentric gilding metal jacket and voidless lead core, so it remains gyroscopically stable very far downrange, and its sleek overall profile cuts down on air resistance. If you’re new to the science of bullets, just make sure you understand that the FMJ is incapable of terminal expansion and as such is less than ideal for hunting applications.
This ammunition is loaded in Ohio with match grade brass cases and Boxer primers, as well as evenly measured charges of clean-burning propellant. Get a box or five and see just how accurately you can fire your AR-15 real soon!
