This little birthday candle of a shotshell is packed with 1/2 ounces of #7.5 lead shot. You’ll appreciate its fast 1,300 fps muzzle velocity while you’re trying to home in on a moving target, as it will allow you to lead a little less dramatically with your aim. Not to suggest that anyone has gotten knocked backward by the 410 Bore’s recoil, but Winchester’s AA wad does help this ammo deliver less kick all the same.

The wad is also designed to complement this round’s tight pattern. Winchester exclusively utilizes hard lead when they form an AA shell’s shot pellets, which prevents the kind of deformation that loosens up the pattern.

This shotshell’s clean-burning explosive bits are loaded in a strong and reloadable hull with a brass-plated head. Winchester’s American-made sporting clays ammo is also fine for trap, and it’s just as reliable in a shotgun as it is a revolver or derringer.
